My place is getting there. I have painters coming on Saturday to paint my ceilings and baseboards and the chair railing in the dining room. Hopefully then, I will finally, finally be done with the painting. And I'll finally be ready for the housewarming party next month ( Read more... )

The bank came down to the appraised price! So I'm getting an even better deal than before. I'm so excited! I am still scared that something else will happen that will make it not happen, but my realtor is calling my lender to make sure we can still close next Friday. (Next Friday!!!)

The appraisal came back significantly lower. Either the seller has to come down to what the appraised (FHA) price is, or, I have to come up with a LOT more money. The second option is not an option. The first one has to happen ( Read more... )
