Kind of solved... :C
Well, I took my problem to the Sims 2 community and it looks like I have an answer. The problem is that I'm running an integrated graphics card. Sure would've been nice if the sales guy had mentioned that when I asked if the graphics card was alright for gaming :C Anyway, my graphics card can't be upgraded because it's built into the motherboard, ( Read more... ) -
Never mind.
Turns out there were a TON of patches that I didn't have installed. I managed to get all of them and now I'm running great! To celebrate I've done a huge clothes downloading spree. I'll probably round up a couple more mods and then do a new update. I can't wait to see what happens between Bryan and Shirley!

Game Problems, Downloads To-Do List
Still no luck figuring out what's conflicting in my game, but I have at least cleaned out a bunch of stuff in the meantime- files that weren't unzipped correctly, genetic items I had more than one of, stuff I just plain didn't like after seeing it in-game, etc. The problems are still persisting though :C Mostly just random crashes, but sometimes I' ( Read more... ) -

Pretty much done cleaning out my neighborhood to make way for the Hampton Legacy. However, now I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to do my screenshots. I have pretty much no experience with sim photography whatsoever.
