Never mind.
Turns out there were a TON of patches that I didn't have installed. I managed to get all of them and now I'm running great! To celebrate I've done a huge clothes downloading spree. I'll probably round up a couple more mods and then do a new update. I can't wait to see what happens between Bryan and Shirley!
Looks like I spoke too soon. The first time I ran the game everything seemed fine, but then I did it again this morning and it was doing the weird texture thing again and eventually crashed. ;__; Looks like it's time to go to outside help. Wish me luck!
