I love this part of the week. You know the part where I have less than $2 in my account and can't buy any more food so I have to find creative ways to use what's in the pantry. That kids was sarcasm. First of all your food is sub-par.  And ever since you got rid of the Tofu in Garlic Sauce (which was delicious btw but discontinued while I was in high school) there's nothing for vegetarians there.  If I want soggy disgusting steamed vegetables I'll dig through the trash and no.

I needed some apparently.

So I made baked spaghetti.  Really easy and there are a million recipes out there.  I kinda made my own.

Now I am enjoying a tall mug of homemade hot chocolate made with cocoa powder, milk, sugar and chili powder.  Yes, I put chili powder in my hot chocolate thanks to the movie Chocolat for that.

But my house smells like I did.  So I looked for a recipe which would use the two mini boxes of almost stale raisins in my pantry.  While baking it overflowed (despite using the proper pan and less of the topping than the recipe called for) and burned into the bottom of my oven.  Ugh.

Did anyone watch SNL on Saturday?

I freakin' love Penelope.  She's got to be my favorite reoccuring character.  Anyway she mentioned that her car runs on bleu cheese dressing and well what did I do?  Yes, I went out and bought some bleu cheese dressing. Damn you SNL!
