Per the film Julie & Julia (which is a delightful movie and I promise to review it soon) I decided I would poach my first egg.  I've had poached eggs before but I've never made them.  My mom and my sister always poached them in a poaching pan.  So I put them in boiling water moved the white over the yolk as the technique goes and out came two ( Read more... )

I made about a gallon of this stuff last night.  I'm convinced I'm a nocturnal creature.

Oh fooled you.  I don't really have a recipe for this but I can sum up what I did.

1. Boil potatoes.  I used maybe seven potatoes.

2. Refrigerate.

3. Separate hard boiled egg whites from yolks.  I used four hard boiled eggs.  Chop whites, set aside.
