I know I haven't posted my photo for last week (yes, I have taken it), but I was at my Aunts for the weekend ... a long journey, and quite stressful, but still glad I went. Anyway, she is 92, so good to know she is still "OK", considering her age, and as such, lets look at OLD

Old and New
Just up the block from us, on our daily walks to the park, there has been an empty bank building. It's been so long since it's been a bank I couldn't tell you which one it was; I think it was several different banks, then it was an office, and then it sat there empty for at least a decade, maybe two ( Read more... ) -

I'm a million prompts behind, and I will attempt to make an effort to catch up, but that may or may not eventuate. lol For now I will have a teeny catch-up.

This was an exhibit in a museum hobbitmum and I visited a few years ago. I loved the fact it looked handmade - not sure if it ever was actually used in the series as the museum claimed but hey.... DALEK!!!!

Could I be any further behind? I doubt I'll ever catch up, but at least I can prove I'm not dead by posting this photo of a detail of an ancient Egyptian temple. I forget whose temple it is, but it's on an island in the Nile, and this shot was taken from a boat as we passed by.

In lieu of posting my birth certificate (or worse yet, a photo of me), here is the very old tree that had collapsed in our woods and as it rotted, gave the appearance of mouth agape monster lurking just off the front yard.
