Old and New
Just up the block from us, on our daily walks to the park, there has been an empty bank building. It's been so long since it's been a bank I couldn't tell you which one it was; I think it was several different banks, then it was an office, and then it sat there empty for at least a decade, maybe two.
When I heard there was a Starbucks moving in, I thought they'd tear down the old building and put in a new one -- but instead, to my delight, they restored the OLD building to accommodate something NEW! (Including keeping the two magnificent old magnolia trees growing in what will now be the patio areas.)
