Did you think I died? Nope - just busy. This one was easy. It's an old clock called a "Regulator". Gives the time and date, if and when it's wound properly and in good condition. We have't tried to make it work in years, but it used to.

I have a small forest of Japanese maple trees in my front yard. They are all children of a tree my parents gave us when we first built the house. It has long since gone to its reward, but the off spring continue to grow and expand.
