* Patrick McGoohan died. :( I can't recall if I ever saw him in anything other than Braveheart and The Prisoner. But I loved The Prisoner. It was trippy and beautiful and mad and mod. And it managed to make a giant white beach ball actually seem menacing. It's weird, I was just randomly thinking about the show earlier today, and then I stumble ( Read more... )

Have you heard the rumor that they might be adding a third Winchester?

o_O I'm a spoilerphobe, so I haven't heard that. Umm, I guess we'll just wait and see.

Sorry! I don't know if it's true or not and I don't even watch the show. (You can't really trust the internet, now can you?) Haha. :D (And even so, I'm fine with two, I don't know if I can even can handle three...okay, sorry, um, yeah.)

Aw, that's all right. It happens. Actually, there were three Winchesters in the beginning of the series (counting their father, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan), so... hmmm. *is v. curious, but willing to wait to find out*

(LOL Handling just one Winchester might be a challenge. A challenge I'd be up to.... ;))

I was interested in renting Wonderfalls, but after falling hard for Pushing Daisies and dreading our inevitable breakup *sniffle*, I'm not sure if I want to have another broken heart over another Bryan Fuller creation. I know, kind of silly of me. Why is it that every show the man does winds up cancelled? :( I'm glad that you're enjoying Wonderfalls, though! I'll probably check it out someday.

Ooh, sounds like the SPN convention is going to rock. And yes, if Jensen were there, it'd be even better. Hopefully he'll be at a future SPN convention!

I'm so excited about the new season of Flight of the Conchords! I saw a promo featuring one of their new songs and it was hilarious, even though I only saw it for like, 3 seconds. I'm sorry you don't have HBO! :(

*hugs*

No, that's not silly at all. I know exactly what you mean--the whole time I was watching the Wonderfalls dvds, I both anticipated (just to see how things would turn out) and dreaded (over too soon *sigh*) the end. But you know how some people have said they didn't think Pushing Daisies could have lasted much longer, that it was a limited concept and probably couldn't have kept going even if it hadn't been cancelled? Well, in PD's case, I think that's bullshit. But with Wonderfalls, I think it's mostly true. The show probably could have gone on a BIT longer than it's 13 episodes, but the overall concept seemed like it would get old eventually, unless they found new ways to change things up (which, considering it's Bryan Fuller, maybe they could have). Which is to say, it's not as difficult to see Wonderfalls end as it is to see PD... *sniffles* ... you know, the "e" word ( ... )

Oh, in that case, I will check out Wonderfalls. :) Probably not for awhile though. I remember hearing/reading that Fox only aired four episodes of Wonderfalls? Between that and ABC's cancellation of PD and their claims of not airing the final three episodes until the SUMMER, it seems like Bryan Fuller's original work gets treated very poorly. I just don't get why his work isn't more appreciated. :/ *sigh*

I hope you get to meet Jared and the other cast members that will be at the SPN convention! :D And I hope you can get some pictures! I watched the "A Day in the Life of Jared and Jensen" featurette plus the blooper reel on the SPN season one disc, and both Jared and Jensen seem like very nice guys who would be appreciative and kind to fans. :)

LOL, yes, that's the same promo! How weird, it just came on TV now! I had to turn around and watch it again, LOL. Yes, "checking out our rumps, and then back to our sugar lumps!" Bwah! But I think it's their synchronized dancing that's the best part. ;)

Yep. Isn't tht fucked up? Fox has a lovely track record of screwing with series like that, of course. So I guess we should be lucky that ABC kept PD as long as they did. [heavy sarcasm] I don't get it either. Some people have said that his style is too niche and doesn't have wide appeal, but I don't buy that at all. It's quirky, which--granted--isn't everyone's cup of tea. But given the success of quirky movies like Juno and Little Miss Sunshine in recent years, it's clear that there IS an audience (and not a tiny one, by any means) for smart, quirky tv and film. Poor Bryan just can't catch a break ( ... )

She seems pretty damn awesome and almost Pamela-like in RL (well, ok, based on the *one* interview I've read). Not to mention, kinda hot.

I had no idea he was responsible for all those shows. I saw most of Wonderfalls. It does make sense that he would have created Pushing Daisies. I have been meaning to watch Dead Like Me as well.

*nods* I think he has also written for some Star Trek off-shoots, but I'm not really into that sort of thing so I've no idea what his work was like with those particular shows. It's weird to imagine that, though, considering how quirky his style was on Wonderfalls and Pushing Daisies.

Ack, why is that alarm clock so expensive! I would love it.

I know, that would be so great--were it cheaper! On the other hand, I think that after a few weeks of waking up to that clock, I might be conditioned to hate Stephen Fry's voice. Which is just a horrible thought.
