* Patrick McGoohan died. :( I can't recall if I ever saw him in anything other than Braveheart and The Prisoner. But I loved The Prisoner. It was trippy and beautiful and mad and mod. And it managed to make a giant white beach ball actually seem menacing. It's weird, I was just randomly thinking about the show earlier today, and then I stumble ( Read more... )

It sounds to me like it's time to splurge for either HBO or DSL. :) DSL with AT&T is only $19.95 per month so that's not too bad...isn't that less than AOL? I'm pretty happy with it so far...it's faster than my old dish internet.

That is less than AOL, but I don't know if we can get it around here. Guess I'll look into it.

I got inexplicably sad at the Patrick McGoohan news. I remember watching The Prisoner as it aired and being both totally befuddled and totally mesmerized. RIP.

That's the best description for the show and its effect.

I'm really curious (leaning on the side of very wary) about the remake, even though Sir Ian's supposedly involved with the project. The original was just so unique and iconic, and so Sixties.

Love Dead Like Me! I didn't think anyone knew that show. I would watch it over the summer - used to air on one of our cable channels.

I caught some of it on cable a year or two ago, and really liked it even though I missed the very beginning and, accordingly, felt a bit adrift. Now it's on my Netflix queue. :)

Hee, and Bryan was so cute the way he said it. (I wonder if he has a little crush on Lee. That would be adorable!) I'm so glad you think so too. :) Speaking of which, have you ever seen this photo shoot of Lee and Anna? So classic Hollywood. Although, instead of just Jimmy, he reminds me of Clark Cable in some of those pics.

*hugses* Love you too, sweetie!

Hee. Aw, you're welcome, hon. They are truly, truly fabulous! I especially love the one of Lee dipping Anna--so elegant and artistic. :)
