Prosper
In April 2006 I loaned $100 to an unknown guy on Prosper (www.prosper.com) a reverse auction site for people seeking funding. He wanted to pay off his high interest credit card of 20% or so, and I wanted to try out lending on a micro level. For the loan I got 8.85%, not bad.
Today he paid the loan off in full, a few months early.

Open House -- Submit a low offer? and Isn't the Internet scary??
We went to an Open House today in Marblehead, a house just off the 4th hole of the Tedesco Golf Course. This home, we were told was owned by a grandparent, later passed on to a child, then to a grandchild.
Very nice views of the golf course, needs a bit of work, but a lovely 2 lot piece of property on the southeastern east of Marblehead - ( Read more... ) -
Seattle Architecture Walking Tour
Last Saturday in Seattle I decided to take a 2 hour walking tour with The Seattle Architecture Foundation in the Historic Belmont District -- I had a good time, even if I was the only out of towner in the group of 20. Bill Strong, the docent and an architect was an excellent guide.
