The authorities are asking relatives of the Air France Flight 447 victims to help with identifying them, by sending pictures of not only the faces, but tattoos and even piercings. I've never wanted a tattoo before, but now I want one, in case it ever comes up like this? I think I want my name tattooed in a gay rainbow on my side.

Much as my life has been sucking recently (and wow, has it ever been) I've enjoyed retelling the story of the catheter hooked onto my cat's kittydick to all my male co-workers.

I wanted to mention that, in my American Short Story class, there is this one guy who's blind and uses some sort of typewriter . . . thingy, to take notes. In December, I handed out copies of the story I'm presenting today, and I realized I couldn't give him one. That didn't make me feel so good ( Read more... )
