it too half an hour for me to take Rob's bandage off, for him to shower, and for me to redress the wound.

I certainly hope I get faster at this.

Given his hairline, I don't know if this would work, but for him to shower: use Glad Press 'n' Seal. You just rip off a piece a bit larger than the bandaging, seal it carefully all around and - he should be able to shower with that in place. It won't help actually needing to change the bandaging, but might at least speed up the showering process.

He is actually SUPPOSED to get water on it every day, and shampoo won't hurt it. He's supposed to clean it out regularly as it heals.

If none of the components need to be reused, it might be easier to remove wet than dry.

My mom has a pressure sore. It takes my dad and I about 45 minutes to get everything ready, her patch changed and the wound cleaned. Plus her diaper changed at the same time. It doesn't seem to get any faster.
