The weekend was mainly all about hockey. On friday Finland easily beat USA in penalty shootout. Saturday semifinal was against mighty russia who turned to their knees on the overtime and Finland continued to the final. For last week I have been working on a project proposal to European Union 7th framework research program. We have formed a consortium with some companies and universities around the Europe. The deadline for the proposal is this week, so basicly last weekend was dedicated to major writing. Well at least for Saturday that is.

Today we start from the word Sunday, which is nedelja. Slovenian's don't worship sun like english speaking countries, but they still rest on sunday's i.e. don't work on sundays. Back in Finland in winter time I have hot rhum (cap [~2cl] full of dark rhum, hot water and spoonful of honey) on cold days after I come home from outside.
