The weekend was mainly all about hockey. On friday Finland easily beat USA in penalty shootout. Saturday semifinal was against mighty russia who turned to their knees on the overtime and Finland continued to the final. Unfortunately in the final the team decided to just enjoy skating and not actually play hockey, which resulted loss and silver medal.... again.
The culture part consisted of Eurovision "song" contest. The highlight of the show was the beginning with nice new
lordi video (at least I tought this was best part). I was mostly playing advance war 2 during the show, so it was more like background noise. There was one interesting point though, the slovenian reporter kept saying phrase: "Saatana, Perkele" several times. Unfortunately due to slovenian dialect she used (And if you believe this is the reason... I have good car for sale), I wasn't able to find out the context and reason why she kept repeating them. After all these are two pretty good finnish swearing word, especially perkele has nice snappy touch in it.
