7. The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho 6. Doctor Who: The Roundheads - Mark Gatiss 5. Free: The Future of a Radical Price - Chris Anderson 4. Doctor Who: The Murder Game - Steve Lyons 3. World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War - Max Brooks 2. Men of Tomorrow: Geeks, Gangsters, and the Birth of the Comic Book - Gerard Jones 1. Maus - Art Spiegelman This one was also an audiobook, but those are rather nice to listen to on my walk to the train station in the morning, especially since my Science Friday podcasts don't last me more than two days. Jeremy Irons was a great actor to do the reading. As for the story itself, it's not the sort of book I typically read now. Things go a little too easily for the main character and I'm not as into stories of fate and destiny as I used to be. However, I would have absolutely loved this book when I was thirteen. I have no idea what Coelho's usual audience is so maybe that's more appropriate anyway. In any case, I enjoyed it while I was listening, but I probably won't be seeking out any more work from the author. Not until Kaitlin's older anyway.
