Free was an audiobook, but since I was actually paying attention to it as I was listening I count it as a book consumed this year, if not technically read. The Doctor Who book is one of 22 I managed to snag at Goodwill a few weeks ago, as is the previous Doctor Who book on the list. I'll probably be reading those next. It's a little weird reading ones featuring companions I've never seen before, these last books had the Second Doctor with Polly and Ben while I only ever saw him with Jamie and Zoe, but a quick trip to the Tardis Wiki has so far gotten me to the point where I can at least enjoy them. And I do enjoy them a lot! They're not particularly intellectually stimulating, but it's a good adventure with The Doctor and very true to the feeling of the TV show.
