This week, I've had 4 students (a family of 3 and 1 adult student) put piano lessons "on hold" for a few months. The adult student has a valid medical reason. The family have overbooked themselves. Me, I'm trying not to stress over it all. :s

The time I took stuff to PCI, they tolerated my asking a bunch of questions over and over, double and triple checking. I even had my cousin on the phone - a computer techie in Texas - second guessing everything they told me and they worked with me on it all. So I'd say before you even TOUCH the machine, ask them to verify that the software has actually been installed.
Altho I see the time stamp on here so you've probably already picked it up. Hopefully it worked? Pls let me know - My sister's computer is acting wonky and we'd been planning on taking it to them, but if they're pulling crap like Best Buy did then we'll take it somewhere else again. There's a few others in town we haven't tried yet.

It's chaotic down there right now with the remodeling of the building. One day, they had all the pc's in one room, another day I'd go in and the pc's were in a different room. But calling to say my computer was ready to pick up when in fact the software had not been installed was a massive boo-boo on their part. I did get a free 1 year service plan out of for the inconvenience. I just hope the service is better the next time I need to go in.
I've just turned it on today and BitDefender has been installed. I've just scanned my external back up drive with it and found 2 bugs and squashed them. I'm in the process of reinstalling everything. Fingers are crossed that it all goes smoothly.
