Well, I spent the last week fighting Cornerstone's file server.  Apparently, the RAID controller went south taking all the data on the RAID array with it.  What is more, its timing was perfect because instead of dying in an instant, it appeared to die over several hours (think Titanic sinking), and during those hours the full backup ( Read more... )

Last Friday's storm took out about half my backyard fence.  In chunks.  The last bit got torn apart while I was standing next to it reinforcing it.  My reinforcements held to together after the wind tore the fence out of the ground and moved it toward me a foot.  I think that irritated the wind, because it came back and tore the fence apart and ( Read more... )

The end of Daylight Savings Time has brought the return of the hour (no interest, no extra seconds, just the original hour) taken last Spring.  In addition, I also got good sleep this weekend, so despite the early hour I'm not falling asleep at my keyboard.

I'm tired.  Or, at least, I think I am.  Somehow, I didn't end up sleeping as much this weekend as I normally do.  But I got to spend time with Wendy (just the two of us, no kids interrupting), see two movies, help friends move, enjoy good company, worship the Lord, and hear His word faithfully preached.  It was a good weekend.
