Stormy Weather
Last Friday's storm took out about half my backyard fence. In chunks. The last bit got torn apart while I was standing next to it reinforcing it. My reinforcements held to together after the wind tore the fence out of the ground and moved it toward me a foot. I think that irritated the wind, because it came back and tore the fence apart and threw a bit of it (6 foot by 8 foot) at me. I backpedaled as it came flying at me, and then it hit one of our trees and it was over. Power was off for about a day. Still that didn't stop our having a fun episode of Walker's Ransoms ("Morning Glory").
I finished Jim Butcher's Death Masks last night. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the next book in the Dresden Files series.
