Heee, thanks! She is just the sweetest girl in the universe. C:

Haha, I still have no idea why parrots yawn when you scritch their ears! :o

Isn't it a reflex thing? I remember reading a webpage on parrot behaviours and apparently they reflex-yawn when you blow into their ear canals so maybe scritches do the same thing? Nonetheless, that one made me laugh too! Such expression from such a little cutie!

I'm so, so glad that Jordie found a home with you! Maybe it's because I have a quaker of my own, but my heart goes out to quakers in need with an almost unbearable intensity. Poor little guy, I can't imagine how horrible it must have been to sit still for fifteen years in a tiny cage. I'm happy that he found a knowledgeable owner!

All of your other birds are gorgeous too!

Haha thanks! I have always adored quakers Bail's first owner had a quaker before they got her, and I just fell in love with him. He adored me and would share me breakfast when I stayed the night. I tried really, really hard to get them to give him to me [he was cage-free and only one person in the household really liked him] but nope. I heard years later that he had been killed in a slammed door and I cried like a baby. I've wanted a quaker ever since, but I figured if it was meant to be, it would happen eventually.

Thank you! C:

Welcome to the world of quakers! :D

For a bird that's supposed to be cage bound, he seems remarkable friendly. :)

The change in his feathers, after having a shower, is just mind boggling. A tremendous improvement!

Bailey is beautiful, as always, and I'm thrilled with Dusty's tail improvement - though I, too, found her furry little bum kind of cute. *G*

Thank you! :D I've actually loved quakers for years, and have wanted one for a very long time. They have such huge attitudes, it just cracks me up.

I am really, really surprised at the change in him so far. He's still very possessive of his cage [to be expected, he is a quaker after all], but is no longer lunging at me as I walk by his cage or biting me when I offer him treats. He's doing much better, I think at one time he was much loved and received a lot of attention and love, but as the years went on he just kind of fell on the back burner. He just needs a refresher course. :]

He looks like a completely different bird and once his tailfeathers grow out he'll be the picture of health!

Hehe, I loved her fuzzbutt, but man she looks amazing now!

I have a little blue quaker, Littlefoot, and he is just a complete sweetheart and a total cheeky dinosaur. I think Quaker's really embody the belief that small birds can fit in a LOT of personality and attitude.

I'm sure he'll be a bouncy little fluff-ball in no time at all. :D

Ah, I remember Littlefoot! Perfect name, haha. I love blue quakers, they are so darned cute.

I hope so! I can see him coming out of his shell little by little, and hopefully he'll be the naughty little troublemaker I know he is inside. :P

Wow, is Bailey already 10 already? Where does the time go? The 1st picture of Bail-- I love her eyes! And the picture of her staring at her feet! No clue about the various of color in her feathers. I'll see what I can find out for you.

Dusty looks absolutely amazing! It's hard to believe how far she has come. And yay! Budgie flock pictures! They are very cute and I've missed seeing pics of them.

Congrats on the new addition! He looks 150% better after his bath! You will very quickly find out just how smart, yet sweet they are. I'm quite impressed that he's at least 15yo and has been on a seed-only diet his whole life.
