Rikku double-checked her little bags. Marshmallows--check. Matches, check. Potions and ethers: double check! Despite everyone saying the castle gave you whatever you asked for, she'd been a little skeptical--at least, until she woke up that morning and found her floor littered with sparkling little blue and green bottles, matches, and some new clothes.

So Rikku was decked out in a pair of shorts--they were actually a lot like the ones she used to wear when she'd been fifteen or so; a little longer, and without the frills--a series of new belts with muted tan packs dangling on them and a longer shirt (way more appropriate for going someplace there might be poison ivy) and tall, flat boots. She'd even traded in her larger, circular handled daggers in favor of her old claw device. Checking herself out in the mirror, Rikku felt a certain sense of nostalgia... but at the same time, prepared for some kind of great wild trip. She took the stairs down two at a time, excitement mounting in her veins the whole way ( ... )

Sora's eyes flickered with recognition. "Ah!" he said. "Hi, Matsuri; it's nice to meet you in person~ You know, I think I saw you at the pool party, but I didn't know who you were!" He laughed aloud, and then turned to Orihime, nodding a silent greeting before his gaze swung to the two newest arrivals--a spunky little blonde girl and a very tall redhead who looked...disturbingly like Axel. Only he had more tattoos and...was wearing a lot more colors. Wow, a lot more colors. Plus he was carrying a sword instead of chakrams, and Sora was pretty sure he'd never seen Axel wear his hair in a ponytail ( ... )

"You too--" Kairi was in the midst of replying to Matsuri when a chipper redhead (who was quite well-endowed, Kairi noted with a touch of envy!) bounced (no pun intended. Oh gosh, she didn't mean it like that, not like bounced bounced. She was just very...bouncy. L-like personality! Not--not...a-anyway) up to the group. "Hi there!" Kairi greeted again, brightening even further as Renji walked up.

The way he dressed reminded her of Sora and Riku, all hodgepodge like that. But where Sora and Riku had a million belts and buckles and zippers, Renji had a million articles of clothing and colors and designs. "That," she told him as he arrived, "is the coolest outfit I have ever seen ( ... )

Rikku paused and thought about that, remembering what Yuffie had said once about a Rikku that wasn't her stealing ice cream. "I think," she added. She was almost positive. Almost. Oh well.
