"You too--" Kairi was in the midst of replying to Matsuri when a chipper redhead (who was quite well-endowed, Kairi noted with a touch of envy!) bounced (no pun intended. Oh gosh, she didn't mean it like that, not like bounced bounced. She was just very...bouncy. L-like personality! Not--not...a-anyway) up to the group. "Hi there!" Kairi greeted again, brightening even further as Renji walked up.

The way he dressed reminded her of Sora and Riku, all hodgepodge like that. But where Sora and Riku had a million belts and buckles and zippers, Renji had a million articles of clothing and colors and designs. "That," she told him as he arrived, "is the coolest outfit I have ever seen!"

Rikku arrived then, and Kairi nodded a little, noticing Sora's faint distress at Renji's appearance. She nudged her friend slightly and murmured, "I know. I thought it was him too, when I first met him." More loudly, she declared, "But Renji's cool. He fights...Hollows, I think you called them? They're like the Heartless." She beamed. "So even here, you'll never have to fight alone."

With that, she concluded, "Okay, so you're Rikku--nice to meet you, by the way--and since you're Matsuri and, well, that's Renji and he's a boy anyway, and I remember Yuffie so...that makes you...uh, Ore...uh..." Crap, what had been her name? Kairi always felt so bad when she didn't remember someone's name, but in all fairness, hers had been really weird. "I'm Kairi," announced the girl then, to smooth things over, "for all of you who don't know. I brought lots of fruits and things, granola bars and trail mix. Oh, and juice and water," she added as an afterthought, just in case anyone thought she was crazy enough to go exploring without enough to drink. "So...aside from Yuffie and Riku, who else are we waiting on? Did you guys invite anyone else?"
