Earlier this evening I told Amy that I'm motivated to do schoolwork because of my wife and still-unborn (ten weeks away!) daughter.

Hey, it made sense to me.

January - Began the year 2010.  Got accepted into Temple, which confirmed that we would be moving.  Interviewed over the phone with UGA.

February - Got accepted into University of Georgia, which determined where we would move.

April - Visited Athens early in the month to get impressions.

I just heard Mariah Carey's "Obsessed" and she autotuned through half the song.  She's done.

On the news front, I've begun my new job, substituted at the church's school for my boy who just got married (great wedding, btw), and chased/lured a couple of cats out of the apartment.

Life is already much more interesting now that summer has ended.

*  Like I put on my Facebook status a while back, "Working with kids is work."  It is.  I'm working with the summer camp at the school that my church runs, and though I'm only there three hours (or so) a day, there isn't a day that I don't come home tired ( Read more... )
