Addressing those in Paixao

Apr 09, 2007 02:36

The Mayor of Paixao speaking.
Firstly, I would like to welcome all of those who have been in Paixao. The greeting is probably late for many of you but... I hope that you are somewhat enjoying your stay here.

My secretary has informed me that several of you have filed complaints regarding Paixao. Because of the mass number of them, I think it would ( Read more... )

Oh, I have such a terrible complaint. Why on earth are we stuck here, why, oh, why can't we leave?

Your mother was a whore, and you're not a proper mayor, etcetera, etcetera.

Mmm. I do hope you can handle that sort of complaint. <3

Ma'am, you of all people should be able to know what I am capable of... I'm sure he can put in a good word or two for me.

There were some sorts of transportation that was available a while back but I am afraid that it is taking a while to fix. It is unfortunate that it will take at least a couple months... Transportation is not a simple things these days!

And if you have a complaint with my mother, please say so directly to her.
Thank you for your cooperation.

........

This place has a Mayor...? Since when?

I've been attending business elsewhere so was not present for the past month or so. Paixao has always had a mayor.

Hmph.

So, you're in charge around here hmm?

You could say that. That is the job of a mayor last I checked.

The weather lately has been ridiculous; you people do control it, don't you? And the fact that everything is manufactured here is just disgusting. Why make the effort to have a false landscape when you could have real plants and animals?

I have people who control it, yes. I will be sure to sent some more people to check on it. I apologize that you are displeased with the false landscape.

... A mayor?

I got a question! How did I end up in Paixao?

And how come people from different times are here too?

What are lumens?

What are Nobodies?

How do we get out of here?

I have no idea how you ended up in Paixao, child. I think you should know better than I.
Different times? What are you talking about?

Lumens are natives of this island.
Nobodies... Is there such a thing? You have quite the imagination I see.

There is transportation installed in various places on the island that you used to be able to use to "get out of here" but they are currently being renovated.

Different times. -_-; As in, we discovered a colleague here who's several years younger than he should be.

Is that even possible? Haha, I am not educated in the ways of magic or time too well... Perhaps you can check with your colleague?

Where's all the grub and other animals?

Paixao is almost completely artificial. "Grub" and animals (other than the aliens that find their way here) do not exist here. What we have are lumens and a couple exceptions.

A-Aliens?! ...whatever, that's not the point. This artificial junk, a bit to taboo. Ever thought of actually keeping something real here?

We do! The fruits and vegetables served in restaurants are natural-- although I admit almost none of it is completely organic.
