Fancy meeting you here.

Benjamin Sullivan is particularly chipper today, because he has just had an amazing conversation with one particularly sexy Australian. A conversation that may have lead to something just as amazing... in bed. Life is, indeed, looking good. He's drinking a beer at a table and generally, enjoying life.

Angel is here too. He doesn't end up in the ( Read more... )

Because Chase hasn't been outside or talked to JD in a while, the narration decides he might want to go out this evening. (Chances are, he'll run back into Ben eventually, too). Not to mention he's just in a very good mood for many reasons.

"Somehow, I'm not surprised to see you out here stargazing." He teases and sits down in the grass next to JD, glancing up at the sky himself.

JD sits up and smiles at Chase when he approaches.

"Really?" He laughs and then lays back down against the soft grass, putting his hands behind his head. "Is it cause I just seem like the stargazing type?"

"Maybe that's it." Chase grins and shrugs, "How're you and April doing?" The grin turns into a smile because those two really were wonderful together.

JD grins at mention of April.

"We're doing... perfectly. Really. We'll have in total like three weddings and three honeymoons. It kind of makes my head spin, but... I love her and I'm willing to say that to anyone who's willing to listen as often as I can. It'll be fun." He turns his gaze from the stars to Chase. His grin becomes a little mischievous smirk. "How're you and Ben?"

Because he knows even if they're not official. I mean, the snowball fight, the cake fight... JD can be slow, but not that slow.

Angua had been expecting to find Logan in that corner. No reason, she just... felt like having someone to talk to, or just be around, and Logan is easy, everything around him seems simple and uncomplicated. A lot like being around Carrot, actually, without the occasional things about Carrot that both baffle and frighten her.

Instead, she finds someone she doesn't really recognize, with a strange and unsettling scent. She stands there for a while, staring at him, before she realizes just what it is about him - he smells different from vampires in her world, but not enough to throw her off for too long.

Don't mind the young woman staring at Angel and bristling slightly. It's just a natural thing werewolves have about vampires.

Angel raises his eyebrows at the woman. He hasn't been in the Inn much, but from what he'd seen nearly everyone was friendly. Not only friendly, but practically the epitome of friendly.

It was all a little unnerving really.

This woman's reaction felt much more realistic, but still... odd.

"Something wrong?"

"You're a vampire," she says flatly, just barely managing to keep herself from baring her teeth. She'd really hoped there wouldn't be any vampires here, it just made her feel... better about the world when it could be confined to people she liked and trusted.

So much for that.

"And you are... not human. Obviously."

Other than the slayer, humans can only detect a vampire when they're in full fang mode.

Particularly dim witted humans don't get it until they're being drained of blood. Then it's Oh, vampire and death.

Hello Bed, please to not be minding a certain Lucy who may be staring at you. She's got a photo in her hand (lovingly provided by the Inn) with you in it.

Yes, she might have asked the Inn to remind her what Chase's boy looked like but it's only for good reasons!

...Well okay, it's for her own curiosity but she can only take standing around the lobby for so long.

Ben can't help, but mind a little.

As sexy as he is (;p), it is not everyday that someone stares at him so intently and with a photo in their hand.

It's weird.

He tilts his head to the side and quirks a grin at her. "You looking for someone?"

It taks her a moment to even realize that he's noticed her and she jumps a little as the realization dawns.

"Oh, sorry," she mutters, slipping the photo underneath the table. "You're Ben Sullivan, correct?"

Ben is still grinning, but he's very much confused. He's been in the Inn a very long time, and no one's every been looking for him. At least not anyone he didn't already know.

"Who wants to know?" He raises an eyebrow at her and then laughs a little, taking a drink from the bottle and shrugging. "You've found him. How can I help you?"
