Anatomy started on Monday! It's very exciting. The only yucky part is the formaldehyde smell - I really don't enjoy that part.
I got to dissect a human spinal cord yesterday! I can't even explain how cool it is. In order to get to it, we used a saw to remove the spine. It was sooooo cool! ***********
This morning I have my first final exam of medical school. It starts at 8:30 am with a half hour of histology questions (look at slides of various tissues and identify stuff) followed by 3.5 hours of multiple choice molecular cell bio and genetics questions. The goal is to pass this exam so that I can put this class behind me

One of my orchid blossoms is opening!!!!!! At noon when I went to the gym, the underside of the bud had cracked open, but just a bit. Upon my return, the bud had released a petal

Things are going well - very busy, but getting exciting and fun! I'm trying to finalize the decorations for the wedding ceremony and reception.
