Unanon anonymous April 19 2009, 16:17:00 UTC
does anyone ever feel completely unanon on this meme?
I just posted a fic, and I just look at it and think, there is no WAY everyone reading this doesn't know exactly which are the other fics I've written.
I mean, I generally fill for a certain pairing, and I generally write a certain length fic, and hell, the way I look at it even my subject lines are noticeably me.
Does anyone else feel this way, and are we just being paranoid?

I do feel pretty much unanon myself when I answer prompts, but I'm an art-anon so it's kinda hard to not be recognized (and it's not like I do much efforts to hide my identity...)

If it can reassure you, even if your fics are recognizable on the meme, I probably have no idea who you really are. So you're not really being unanon to me.

Eh, sometimes I feel unanon, but I switch back and forth between fic and art and hardly anybody recognizes my fic, so I'm not too worried.

And don't feel paranoid. I think we've been here for so long that almost everyone is unanon.

I feel unanon when I post art, but not really when I post fic. There's a few anons who are not really anon to me; monkfish-anon because he posted unanon for so long that I recognize the monkfish flavor to requests and fics, another anon who posts fics in a pretty special format (or whatever you call it) and another anon that I simply recognize the writting pattern of because I know them off-meme.

But I'm not bothered if people are more or less unanon (unless they actually post unanon for publicity, that pisses me off a little since I think the fun thing about anonymemes is the illusion of anonymity), and if someone recognizes me when I post art... fine, I have no shame anyway (lost that years ago, ohohoho, free of shame and happy!).

All the talk of tops and bottoms and fandom chewing on itself over who is penetrating who has kinda brought up something that's always bugged me: why does slash fandom worship anal sex so much? Of all the possible very sexy things two attractive men could be doing to one another...why that one? A substantial number of real gay men don't even have anal sex ( ... )

This anon doesn't have an answer to your question, in fact I'd be curious to know too. Because while I do enjoy reading the buttsex, non-penetrative sex is what this anon finds hotter in fics...

I don't know. The rubbings thing (goddamn, what's it called?) for instance is very rare but when I've seen it, quite sexy. So I could definitely stand to see more of that.

I almost always write buttsex in yaoi smut because I feel like people expect it.

Frot/frottage is the term you want, I think. And oh god, yes. Hot like the sun.

Cross posting onepiecekinkmem April 21 2009, 03:12:06 UTC
Onepiecekinkmeme is in trouble!

People haven't been posting there, mainly because everyone believes that no one ELSE is posting there, despite there being some lingering desire to see it up and running expressed in the discussion page here.

I apologize for the spam, but am hoping to encourage anyone who might be interested to come get involved, because there are lots of people I feel just waiting for it to come alive!

I would also like to ask people here if it's okay if we over at Onepiecekinkmeme copy paste prompts from here into our categories, just to start the ball rolling. (What this really means is that if you make a request here, we put it up in the category it would correspond to over at kinkmeme, so it shows up there too.) It wouldn't do harm besides give your prompts more exposure!

Thank you for your time, please discuss!

Both-memes-anon is pleased by this post. Come on, you guys. Let's have some love for category meme! I know some days I wish it was easier to browse the bloated monster that is opfanforall/2 and be able to skip right to all the gen or slash or whatever I want that day.

Have you advertised Onepiecekinkmeme somewhere?

I feel very hesitant about requesting over there for some reason. But I don't feel comfortable requesting here either anymore, so I doubt it's the new meme in itself that's the problem.

About the copy pasting... eh, I don't know. I'm guessing not everyone here checks the new meme, so they might just not notice if their request got filled over there. Maybe we could just encourage people here to copy paste their requests themselves?

What I think the new meme needs is new people. Where did you advertise the meme?

Ok. Now THIS is going to sound rather selfish (although I've noticed this conversation crop up on one or two journals of people who work on the meme but could we try and vary the prompts a little? It seems recently there is a certain char whom is appearing in about 70-80% of new prompts and its getting somewhat tiresome. (Although it is making me go back through the old pages to try and fill some old prompts too so its got something good out of it.)

Oh, not this again. Who is it this time? Zoro again?

Details, please. I just looked through the last four and a little pages, and I couldn't find a character with 70-80% of the prompts dedicated to them. Unless you tell us which character it is, the offending anons won't be able to fade into the shadows.

Seriously, which character is it supposed to be? I think the meme's been pretty varied lately.

Little question anonymous April 21 2009, 18:24:58 UTC
Does anyone know where the popularity of tiger-Zoro and fox-Sanji comes from? Some doujinshi?

Re: Little question anonymous April 21 2009, 19:14:37 UTC
I believe it has its origin in a One Piece videogame where the crew all get changed into animals.

And then the doujin artists got really inspired XD
I'm pretty sure it's something like that but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.
