The writer did go a bit overboard*; at times, they sounded unfamiliar with restaurants/restaurants in Los Angeles. idg being surprised by five types of chicken breast on a menu or different types of cuisine. Villa Blanca's website says "Our stylish restaurant serves Italian, Mediterranean and Asian food". Is it harder to do multiple types of cuisine well? Maybe, but it's not that unusual to try.

I noticed when we first walked in that all of the male staff members wear shirts that read: "SUR Restaurant and Lounge." As we've discussed, SUR stands for Sexy Unique Restaurant. Therefore, the shirts, when read in full, say: "Sexy Unique Restaurant Restaurant and Lounge."

Obviously I can't let this go. I'm in a curious mood, hungry for a bit of investigative journalism. I'm going to get to the bottom of this. I end up asking three SUR staff remembers the exact same question about their shirts.
