A really thorough and incriminating audit could do it. Someone once told me the LDS lost their tax exempt status, but that was hearsay.

Yeah, they're not all Republican. Besides, Mormon Democrats make a hell of a lot more sense then gay Republicans.

Lmao. Anecdata: I've seen it, but I've never seen it last. They've either become gay ex-Mormon Republicans or gay Mormon Democrats/non-partisans.

Why are they sending missionaries to Switzerland of all places? I thought like to pray on poor and vulnerable third-world children?

For a minute there I thought you misspelled 'prey on'. Both 'prey' and 'pray' work in this context though.

But no Prop 8 investigation?

From the article: the investigation into the Mormon Church over Prop 8 (resulting in fines for violating election laws)

I don't remember hearing about that investigation going anywhere before reading this article, though.

I did a quick Ctrl+f and misspelled prop as "proop." Had to leave for work shortly after. :(

The slap on the wrist for the prop 8 thing was sad. on so many levels.

There's a bit more information here.

It was basically a slap on the wrist.
