Thanks. Were problems that arose easily/cheaply fixed? It seems a common car so I would've thought so...

Main problem is one of needing a car asap upon my return but not being in the country to scout for one! If you know anything better up for grabs pleaselet me know :)

Out of the ones Dad's found this seems best bet as others are older/certified as unreliable by his mechanic friend who's helping us. This car at least has had someone who knows what they're doing look over & recommend it. I'll poke Dad (who'll be the one to trundle over & see it - assuming it's not gone) & get him to double check everything.

I'm quite happy with mine (2.0L Diesel). Although I don't think it would be a lot of fun without reasonable power.

Size isn't terrible. They're quite wide. 3 people and LARP luggage fit easily enough.
