As mentioned by both tictactoepony & luckykaa we, together with masterofapath & lemming_man spent Saturday afternoon wandering around Modelworld. This was after the intentional & unintentional drives round to show me Brighton, chips on the sea front, a brief bit of paddling & the collection of some self-bored stones.

Meant to be taking Rusty to the garage this morning to get the last niggle sorted out. Hopefully. The bodged repair has made the car drivable but with an annoying tendency to stall when pulling away unless I over rev her, so replacing the part with one he's meant to have got hold of over the weekend should fix it completely, unless there were two ( Read more... )

Grr. My car was doing it again this morning. Jumping slightly (=misfire?) when accelerating. Am going to take it to garage later today if they're in (I know they work sat but may just be mornings) or monday first thing to get them to fix whatever they f*cked up when they were meant to be fixing it & it had best be for free!

/tired & grumpy rant

Last night my car was being scaringly odd... acceleration was really slow (ok, slower than usual :p) then she'd jump forwards slightly. I was driving to pick up a friend who lives few minutes away so when I got to hers (seemed safer than stopping on that stretch of road) I poked the engine & one of the spark plus was a bit loose. I took lemming-man home to meet the folks this weekend. Half the Hitchcock clan turned up (for various reasons) so he got a fairly full on introduction to the family!
