Remember this? Car making noises if you can't be bothered to read back.
She was ok for a bit then after Christmas in the cold spell was sounding really rough just after starting up so I left her at the garage to get checked over & it turned out there was a problem with the head gasket. As everyone not-my-dad says this is an expensive problem. After umm-ing over the cost I said to go ahead & do it as (a) I love my car (b) to get one as good would cost more moneys. This was all last Wednesday. They said should be able to get it done Wednesday or Thursday this week. Thursday afternoon I call & their mechanic is ill so it hasn't been done. This afternoon I call & speak to said mechanic & it turns out their ramps weren't working this morning & they couldn't get them fixed til this afternoon so now they are playing catch up.
so I might be getting my car back tomorrow morning - which makes collecting it rather a pain but my office mate said she'll give me a lift over there if it's ready.
Anyway. I've been putting off ranting about this for a week but now I'm even more annoyed & I can't rant at the garage as illness & broken machinery isn't really their fault.
Apart from that little gem life is pretty damn good though :)
