NaNoWriMo
Well, I've signed up for NaNoWriMo again this year, intending to do the second book of Halfborn. I have... even less plot, but a lot more characters to start with this time round. Then again, the first one ended up happening completely differently to how I thought it would, and most of the bits of text I have left from later-on points are unlikely ( Read more... ) -

Clearly autumn now. Am mulling a large pan of apple juice, and have deployed the first tictactoepony-derived woollen item. -
Mosquito bites - a tip
Useful bit of advice that I have dispensed a few times this week:
Linda's Method of Dealing With Mosquito Bites:
1) Acquire bite (not advised)
2) Apply to bite: 1% hydrocortisone cream (steroid, reduces inflamation); tea tree and witch-hazel cream (healing / anti-infection).
3) If itching: Boil kettle, make tea (or just hot water). Wait until mug ( Read more... ) -
