Went out yesterday with temiikon for her birthday to karaoke and Yoshinoya (Dallas BBQ was the original plan but it was crowded as sin. Times Square on a Saturday night, go figure). A good eight hours of hilarity and fun. It was nice to have an intimate group (~10) and not have to dress for karaoke for once

The heatwave finally broke. It's only 77 (25) degrees right now. :D There was some rain this afternoon; a moment when it straight-up poured and it was awesome. And it might rain again tomorrow, so that's even better, and it looks to stay below 90 (32) all week

More importantly, my heart goes out to the people of Norway and China and the Winehouse family for their losses. People ragged on Amy Winehouse, but a death is still a death. :/
