Went out yesterday with
temiikon for her birthday to karaoke and Yoshinoya (Dallas BBQ was the original plan but it was crowded as sin. Times Square on a Saturday night, go figure). A good eight hours of hilarity and fun. It was nice to have an intimate group (~10) and not have to dress for karaoke for once.
Most of the karaokeing I do is in cosplay, don't judge me.
Today was mostly just being lazy. I'm working on the scarf, though, slowly. It's very painful work. If anyone knits, can you help me? How do I get the work to lie freakin' flat once I'm done with it? It's curled up like a freakin' scroll.
Tomorrow is a short practice. I have next weekend to myself, so hopefully I can get the bulk of my NYCC work out of the way. That's... pretty much it.
As for baseball, all the teams I'm supporting won tonight! Haven't been paying much attention to preseason hockey, but I know the Canucks won their last game yesterday against the Oilers, 4-1, and that the Rangers beat HC Slovan, by the same score.
Not much to say. Back to knitting.
OH WAIT ALSO! So, you know that little girl that's been getting lots of media exposure for being
detained at the Brooklyn Bridge crossing at OWS? The one that people swear up and down is 13? She's eighteen. We're friends.
We go way back, lol. I think it's hilarious everyone's written her off as a kid. We need to go to those age-guessing booths at carnivals and shit. We could make a killing.
P.S., Matt was here this weekend, decided it would be a good idea if Bradley were let out at night. It's been long enough, he's starting to learn how to behave himself (not that my dad had anything to do with it). He didn't destroy the house, so that's awesome! ♥ My little puppy's gonna be a real dog one day.
