Gettin' things done!

More importantly, my heart goes out to the people of Norway and China and the Winehouse family for their losses. People ragged on Amy Winehouse, but a death is still a death. :/

Scrapping fem!Can for a few reasons was a great idea. I had to worry about the wig and a few other things that Jessi and I were gonna sis it up for, but ... oh well, I'll just be left out.

Friday I'll be Finland (I might redo the shirt, if I have a chance and the appropriate fabric. If not, no big deal), hopefully chilling with avail and anyone else on the Hetalia>25 community (I think my comments are still the only ones on that post), and alternating that with ichiP! so Laura and I can go promote ourselves (with all our cutesy two-person dances). I have to fix my dress: apparently the stitches on the collar didn't completely catch the dress underneath, but that's a quick job. The heat's about to break and it might rain tomorrow and Monday so maybe I can go hunting for more business cards then. I've been avoiding the attic.

Saturday, I'll be cosplaying beisbol with Es and Caitlin, and it'll be strange and amazing. Working on the finishing touches for the cosplay now: just need the number patches to dry so I can put a second coat of paint on (but that won't be until like 10 o'clock. FU fabric paint), and when this post is done, I'll attach the belt loops to the pants and then it looks like I'm done. My other motivation to get this done quickly: there's a Mets game on in about fifteen minutes. In the meantime, I've started the belt loops, striped the pants, and painted the bats and balls. :D

Sunday will be a boring Canada. Need to work on the ahoge, though. God damn, I never have time for it!

And we'll be leaving Sunday late afternoon; round six or seven, I think. Gives us plenty of time to clean the condo and get back to the bus station. The messenger bag is on hold indefinitely. :(

And onto the happy: good luck and congratulations for all the same-sex couples getting married tomorrow! :'D
