Um, stuff.

The heatwave finally broke. It's only 77 (25) degrees right now. :D There was some rain this afternoon; a moment when it straight-up poured and it was awesome. And it might rain again tomorrow, so that's even better, and it looks to stay below 90 (32) all week.

So I worked on my ahoge today, and after much finagling, I think I got it to stay (these pliers suuuuuuck though and I can't find my usual ones). Word. Tomorrow's a day off, and I start packing. Tuesday, I buy thread after work, sew, and finish packing and I'll be all set!

ALL THIS KORRA SHIT LOOKS AWESOME I can't wait to cosplay her.

I've decided I would never qualify to be on a game show because I'm too clever. My mom was watching this one called Estate of Panic, and I was sitting here figuring out really simple solutions to all the problems as they're being explained, and they're extremely obvious to me. Watching something like Double Dare or Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, I'd blurt out the answer before the questions were done being read, never mind the choices. So are people really dumb or am I really smart? I refuse to believe I'm that smart; I can't be.

SO SO SO I was up at nine this morning for stupid reasons and I happened to catch the first same-sex marriages in the city on television. KYAAAAAAA I was so happy! And god dammit, you can't help but be happy for them. I CRIED.

Yeah, I'll be going to bed soon (i.e., sometime before two). Didn't get a good sleep last night, then I got only a few hours of sleep, nodded off a couple of times... that sort of thing.

OH MY FUCKING GOD I KNEW THIS SHIT EXISTED!!!! ... I don't remember it being the Goo Goo Dolls, but it was 1996 so I guess that makes sense, lol.

I remember the Braves being more prominently featured, though (they're all over this enough as it is, but this commercial first aired in '96; the Braves won the World Series in '95). Like, red background, all of them celebrating. Someone pointed at a bat at the camera below him so there was a cool angle-thing going on. And it was only the first thirty seconds but still had the "What a game!" at the end.... BUT YES I FOUND IT. *_* OMG Andy Pettitte was only in his second season. AND LOL MIKE PIAZZA.

(Now if I could just find the one that was the song, with every syllable shifted over one so that the song ended a note too early. ... Yeah, it's hard to describe without me actually singing it (especially when I'm headachey and it's late), and I don't remember what was being advertised. I do remember it was sing-along style, though, with the words and bouncy-ball at the bottom of the screen. What the hell was it? New York Lottery? A candybar? Augh, I DON'T KNOW.)

BUT EEEEEEE RECLAIMING CHILDHOOD BRB ALSJFALKSJDLJASLDJAL
