i'm an elder millennial and we knew it was bad for us then, i remember browbeating/nagging my dad into quitting lol. and i was so pissed when my brother told me he had started, i was like broooooo our grandpa died from lung cancer after years of heavy smoking, why the fuck did you even start!!

But then there is a hypocritical part of me that also acknowledging that it does look good/cool on film and pics as a non-smoker.
But yeah pretty much all my faves that smoke I imagine will end up like this or worse.
I forgot earlier what it was but there was some tweet or a post here about smoking that got me thinking of how I use to see billboards for smoking more when I was a kid compared to now. I think the anti-tobacco industry did a pretty good in the 90s and 00s about telling people the dangers of it. Although nowadays you got the vaping industry and the like.

And that's what happened to her.
What's worse is people getting cancer from secondhand smoke. They never smoked a day in their lives & because they live(d) with a smoker, or worked where people were smoking, they have to deal with that.

I think Kathy Griffin got some lung issues from performing at comedy club where smoking is permitted but she herself is not a smoker.
