Anora is another I need to see but it still doesn't have many showings here, so hopefully more will be added by next weekend.

I saw it at the TIFF theatre. It looks like it is going to a few more theatres next weekend, this week looks like it's only at Varsity

Watched a lot of movies this week! Saw Conclave on Thursday and really enjoyed it - not amazing or anything, but a lot of fun.

Friday, we saw Nightbitch at AFI Fest, with Queen Amy Adams doing a Q&A afterward. The movie didn't 100% work for me, but I did like it a lot -it was funny, and weird, and kind of sweet! Amy totally went for it, in a good way.

Already mentioned seeing Venom: The Last Dance on Thursday and enjoyed it as I knew I would. It's the second best one of the trilogy, with the first obviously having the top spot.

I also took my mom to see The Wild Robot on Tuesday. I'd already seen it and loved it, but I knew she'd like it as well. I was like trust me, if I cried, then you're doomed lol.

We also saw Saturday Night that day and it was ok. I mean, I did like it, and I thought the performances were quite good, but I guess I was expecting more from it? I don't know.

Going to try to see Conclave on either Monday or Wednesday, and maybe Rumours as well if we can fit it in.

Do I need to watch the second Venom to get/enjoy this one? I liked the first and would probably like the second if I watched it, but I just can't be bothered. I do want to go to the cinema soon though.

I think you'd be fine if you didn't get a chance to watch the second one first, but you could always pull up one of those 5-10 minute recaps on YouTube of the second one, just to cover your bases.
