saw anora yesterday and really loved it! mikey madison is a STAR. it was a bit long, but super fun.

gonna see conclave sometime this week as well; hunter harris' tweet about it makes me LOL.

Anora is another I need to see but it still doesn't have many showings here, so hopefully more will be added by next weekend.

I saw it at the TIFF theatre. It looks like it is going to a few more theatres next weekend, this week looks like it's only at Varsity

Ooh I always forget that the TIFF theatre is an option. I've weirdly never been so I should look into that.

I really like seeing movies there! I saw the Zone of Interest and Past Lives there. I like that their "coming soon" has movies I've never heard of lol it makes me think maybe I should become a member to see more stuff there that won't come to other theatres.

And it's always nice to support a theatre other than Cineplex. Like obviously I go there a ton because it's much more convenient and really there aren't even other options that close to me, but lately I've also been making myself go to the two downtown Imagine Cinemas. I'd hate for the few smaller theatres we have left to shut down so I feel like I'm trying to do my part lol

yeah! exactly. I almost always go to cineplex too ngl but it's nice to support independent theatres. plus TIFF has a lot of interesting programming. they show a lot of international films too

Anora was fantastic and agreed that Mikey is a star. I do agree that it was a bit long and I was wondering what they were doing for the last 10 min or so but the last scene paid it off.

For some reason, I too, am so excited for Conclave, but I’ll have to wait until the end of the month to see it.
