Holy fucking shit. I remember Treble Charger, their song American Psycho was huge. I feel genuinely floored by this and just sick to my stomach that this went on for so long without anyone knowing (because how could they? Greig was the consummate groomer). I listened to Sum 41 growing up, they were a rock for me when I was going through my own hell. Their songs brought me so much comfort. It is so upsetting to me to now know that Deryck was suffering all that time. I'm so thankful that not only did that mutual friend put a stop to it but also both Avril and Ariana believed Deryck immediately and gave him the support he needed and deserved. Deryck is so brave and I hope that he continues to heal. I hope the other Sum 41 members are doing okay as well, I can't imagine how they felt hearing that something even worse than the already awful treatment they witnessed (and themselves endured) was happening. I'm so shocked I'm rambling, sorry.

I feel so bad for what he's been through. I remember seeing Treble Charger on tv and even in concert once. Greig Nori is trash and I hope he gets what's coming to him.

I also hope we start to recognize that men can be victims as well. I feel like this kind of thing gets swept under the carpet when it's a man and that causes other survivors to feel isolated and alone.
