I'm glad Deryck felt able to come forward about this, and it's a despicably predictable response from his abuser. I hope Deryck has a good support system. His story really resonates with me in a lot of ways, unfortunately.

I wonder what we'll hear from all the folks who are soooo concerned about male victims! Just kidding, I know.

I saw him at his book signing last week and he's normally a shy guy, but I could tell there was a heaviness weighing on him. He had a good support system with him even just at the signing, so I hope that his close friends and family help stabilize whatever else gets thrown at him.

I have nothing but respect for him speaking his truth. I can't imagine how hard it must've been keeping it from your bandmates for all this time. May he have peace in wherever his journey takes him next, and I hope the final shows are celebratory for him & the band.

have been in shock for a week about this. wasn't a sum41 fan, but i loved treble charger and had no clue that greig was a pice of shit. just so disgusted and angry.

I had an inkling that Nori wasn't a nice guy after he did not show up to a White Ribbon benefit without informing anyone and Bill Priddle had to sing Ashes To Ashes and something else I don't remember. The way the talked about him not showing up sounded like it wasn't his first dick move. But this is something else, just completely digusting. I hope there is a way in the Canadian justice system (I'm not Canadian) to still make him pay despite that much time having passed.

I was a sum 41 fan, but bc I listened to 102.1 theEdge so much I was a passive Treble Charger fan as well - still have some of their bangers on my Playlist. I feel sick and angry now.
