I looked up Harry's post because I didn't realize he made one. There's so many negative comments that his post is too similar Niall's. idk how people can be so judgemental about this.

right. harry posted his first, so if anything, niall took inspiration from harry but who cares? how does that make it any less genuine? and don't get me started on the paps who photographed niall on the street like the day after liam died

Fucks sake, this got me crying at work. I can imagine he has been replaying their last interaction over and over in his mind. People said Liam was acting "crazy" at his concert. So sad.

All these pictures of him when they were teens is doing something to me. Wow they were such young boys then and I feel like this industry did a number on them. Really chewed them up and spat them out.

And Liam was one of my favs when they first came out, I thought (and still think) he has a lovely voice. I also made fun of some of his solo work but I can’t imagine it was fun having a whole world laugh at your failures.

Idk this whole thing is sad.

How did the industry chew them up and spit them out? Like, their albums were hits. They had a solid five or whatever years together as a mega successful band, and then had successful solo careers (to varying degrees) after. It’s not like the industry broke them up. This is all terribly sad, but I don’t understand the point of view that somehow the business is completely to blame or did them dirty.

not everything is about career success, they are definitely emotionally bruised about being used like cash cows and had traumatic experiences that followed their success. they have talked about it.

Well that’s true, in hindsight I feel dumb at not thinking about the pressures of fame while they were young despite the success. Especially with how commercial they were, it’s not like they were some indie band with a dream. It just read to me as if though the industry had immediately discarded their worth once they broke up.
