its a period drama in the sense where it takes place 'in the future' which results in them going back in time and treating women as property.

and no, they do not. at least at the current time in the series - she is married pre-hell breaking lose but is separated from him. Later forced to have a baby for the couple that owns her but dude cant get her pregnant so she hooks up with the dude in the gif and has his baby, of which said baby gets taken from her for the couple.

more shit happens after that but like... its not... a great love story.

she seems like a thoroughly exhausting person, but she is a charming and charismatic actor, I must admit

100%, nobody wants this, the good place and that movie where she played a lifeguard were the 3 things i recall seeing her in and she was utterly charming in all of them even tho her characters were always kind of annoying.

I must also admit that I have a tiny soft spot for her after I learned she did volunteer work in my hometown and even helped delivering babies here when she was 20.

The younger couple were kind of predictable. I was rooting for Liza and that tattooed, immature, only hot from the right angles dude.

She didn't though, she randomly broke up with him in a second after spending 6 seasons getting together with him, it made no sense lmaoooo

If I'm being honest, she literally breaks up with him in next to last scene of the last season and then goes to a bar and sees Josh again

I didn't like Liza/Josh because of the writing though, like the show obviously made her in love with Charles and wanting to get with him for so long only to break them up in the finale in a second after getting together dramatically lmaoooo It felt like they wanted to satisfy all fans, like Charles fans got a bunch of seasons of build up and Josh fans got the ending lmao
