I got inspired to make this post after watching "Nobody Wants This," and I thought, well, I know one thing that nobody here wants... An ONTD Original featuring Kristen Bell. So, of course, I decided to make one. 🤣 These are some of the couples from the shows I watched that had really hot on-screen chemistry and made me swoon. Don't take it ( Read more... )

The younger couple were kind of predictable. I was rooting for Liza and that tattooed, immature, only hot from the right angles dude.

Apparently, I was the only one.
I guess it’s good she winded up with the age appropriate man. 🤷🏾‍♀️

She didn't though, she randomly broke up with him in a second after spending 6 seasons getting together with him, it made no sense lmaoooo

Really? Well shit. What season did I stop at? Oops. I guess dreams do come true.

If I'm being honest, she literally breaks up with him in next to last scene of the last season and then goes to a bar and sees Josh again

I didn't like Liza/Josh because of the writing though, like the show obviously made her in love with Charles and wanting to get with him for so long only to break them up in the finale in a second after getting together dramatically lmaoooo It felt like they wanted to satisfy all fans, like Charles fans got a bunch of seasons of build up and Josh fans got the ending lmao

It was so insane, I can't believe they did that. If they wanted that ending, then why not set it up properly? Why string everyone along? Stupid as fuck.

Josh became a glorified extra on the show and we should somehow believe she dumped Charles and went back to him after spending seasons on showing how Josh/Liza don't fit together and Charles is her true soulmate? lmao

This is GOT level of ending for me lmaooo

It is for me too. All that buildup for what?! And Josh was NEVER Liza’s choice. She was always pinning for Charles. Plus JOSH TRIED TO SLEEP WITH KELSEY FFS!

Yeah lmao they wrote the story like Liza was pining for Charles even when she was with Josh and then she'd dump Charles so randomly? lmao

Also, it made more sense to me that SHE writes a book about her experience and not...Charles?!

It's like Darren Star read our theories and decided to shock us so that he doesn't prove us right with the ending.

Like the show was pointing towards a certain ending and then boom, none of it happened. It screamed last minute change for shock value lol

It was disappointing but high-key realistic though! Instead of being delighted that Liza was his age and that he wasn't crushing on someone decades his junior, Charles was going to keep making her pay for lying to him.

Tbh that’s not how he was portrayed in earlier seasons so to me that makes no sense for his particular character. I get it’s realistic for men but he just wasn’t portrayed like that and they just had to ruin him so that Josh seems like an option again after seasons of making him irrelevant

S7 of Younger was such a bummer. The way they executed the ending ruined the show for me. I don't really feel like rewatching it. It's a shame because I really enjoyed most of its run, and I though Liza and Charles were a great match. Honestly, there could have been a believable way where Charles and Liza realize they don't work. It might have been a bit annoying after investing so much in them, but having them make a seemingly impulsive decision and throwing Josh back in the mix was the worst option of them all. Ugh.
