Johnny Marr has been wanting to register The Smiths' name since 2018 so that third parties cannot profit off the band. Morrissey never responded, so Marr registered it himself

I just remember how Tori Amos did a cover of Oasis's Don't Look Back in Anger but she tells a story about meeting Morrissey pissing her off and then works him into the song to diss him. She calls him a small dick fuckhead which is apt.
