It's not really rocket science or anything new. It's all right place/right time, plus in Charli and Sabrina's cases they've been grinding and hustling while building up a solid fanbase especially Charli so when they manage to catch lighting in a bottle....they already got their reinforcements to back them up.

I heard people knew about Chappel from 6 years ago.

They don't seem messy to me performance-wise? Chappell is really good and clearly someone who's been doing live performances for a while now.

Anyone who was in the coachella posts especially during No Doubt's set. We were all saying how them performing all over orange country and independently touring in their early years and hustling/grinding before getting signed to a label is why their set was better than some of the newcomers who are clearly learning as they go.

half of chappell's album has been out for 2+ years as she's been releasing singles for a long long time but this fall was the first time it was put into a cohesive album and given proper promotion, but she has BEEN hustling for awhile. this was her deadline to herself like if i don't make it this year i'm done! and here she is.
