A lot of his reasons for why he likes these items come off as very "old man yells at cloud," but I still thought this video was noteworthy for three reasons

I've been binging Seinfeld lately, it's such a great comfort show.
"You're giving me the "it's not you, it's me" routine? I invented "it's not you, it's me!" Nobody tells me it's them, not me! If it's anybody, it's me."
I still can’t get over the fact that he started dating a 17 year old high school girl during season 4 (and continued to date her through season 8).
But after reading/watching a bunch of behind the scenes stuff, I know a lot of the funniest lines/stories on the show came from other writers. There were so many phrases and conversations from the show that became pop culture and are still used.
There's a reason why Jerry Seinfeld is whining about cancel culture and Larry David only just wrapped a hilarious show with over a decade-long run that basically negates everything Seinfeld is bitter about
That's the first thing I thought of when I saw it - great idea but I'd have it chucked out the next time I take a flight! I also kept forgetting I had my hand sanitiser in my hand luggage, so I stopped carrying it.
I carry hand sanitizer everywhere but I keep it in my purse or carry-on. I am STILL upset 9 years later when I had already passed through security on the way home from Fiji when they did an impromptu security check ON the runway. They took my hand sanitizer from me for no good reason! It was in my purse!
I am willing to make a very tiny concession about this. I did not know that people put peanut butter on apple slices until I was in my 20s. It sounded weird but after I tried it (at someone else’s insistence), I had to admit that it was pretty good.
I’m not saying that’s definitely true about peanut butter and hard boiled eggs, just that there’s a small possibility it’s not as weird as I automatically assumed that it is (let’s be real, it’s probably pretty weird).
No internet. People got away with a lot before social media. Some magazines had him and his girlfriend on the cover, but those were usually gossip rags very few people paid attention to. Unless you consumed entertainment media, you would probably never know.
I know this makes it only slightly worse (because how much of a difference does one year make when we’re talking above a grown ass man dating a teenager half his age?), but he was 39 when he met her.
No you’re right that is worse! Him picking her up from school is what made me gag, something about that visual, I know it was high school but it just evokes images of him handing her a juice box and a little snack just 🤢
I loved how the other day he described some hypothetical plot of Seinfeld that ‘cancel culture’ wouldn’t allow to be done today and it was a whole ass episode of It’s Always Sunny. Jerry is such a loser.

Maybe at the end he becomes the first sacrifice to the Toaster God.
