I've been binging Seinfeld lately, it's such a great comfort show.
"You're giving me the "it's not you, it's me" routine? I invented "it's not you, it's me!" Nobody tells me it's them, not me! If it's anybody, it's me."
I still can’t get over the fact that he started dating a 17 year old high school girl during season 4 (and continued to date her through season 8).
But after reading/watching a bunch of behind the scenes stuff, I know a lot of the funniest lines/stories on the show came from other writers. There were so many phrases and conversations from the show that became pop culture and are still used.
There's a reason why Jerry Seinfeld is whining about cancel culture and Larry David only just wrapped a hilarious show with over a decade-long run that basically negates everything Seinfeld is bitter about
